"Struggling to get knowledge for Bright Future"

           Studying the life of an old man who struggles to survive by collecting empty bottles of mineral water from garbage piles. At the age of 67 years was that he should retire and enjoy their old age. But good fortune can’t be felt, instead he must continue to feel the rigors of life. The sidelines of the break, we were talking, he said “This is my life, I regret in my youth, I do not want to seek knowledge earnestly and in the end like this, I live in a world of ignorance. So I hope the youth today should really in search of knowledge while you are still young and have the opportunity to design a better future than I am" that’s the message of the grandfather.

The message is similar to that delivered Imam Syafi'i "If you can not resist tired of learning, then you should be able to withstand the pangs of ignorance in the future". Reality grandfather's life may be a lesson for our youth to continue to utilize our time to learn. Good luck in the future we must approach with the struggles in their youth.

The future is very necessary for building a life, a good life for himself and lives for the country. Especially for a young man, youth is an important factor for building a nation. The first step to build a life that is bright or a brighter future with only one, namely to strive to gain knowledge, because with knowledge we can change everything. Changing the darkness into the bright light. Changing the bitterness of life to be like the sweetness of honey. This is in accordance with the following hadist :

مَنْ اَرَدَ الّدُ نْيَا فَعَلَيْهِ بِالْعِلْمِ وَمَنْ اَرَدَ اْلاَخِرَةِ فَعَلَيْهِ بِالْعِلمِ وَمَنْ اَرَدَ هُمَا مَعًا فَعَلَيهِ بِالْعِلْمِ

"Who wants the world (live in the world with the good), he should have knowledge, who wants the Hereafter (afterlife later with pleasure), let him have knowledge, who want both, let knowledge."

From the quote the hadits stories and assured us that how important it is to have knowledge, so there is a saying that states live without science is like a blind man walking with a lantern. For that we as youth then thirsted for knowledge. And how to get that knowledge? Ali bin Abi Talib said, "You can not achieve knowledge except by five things: the intelligent, inquisitive, resilient, have provisions in their studies, the guidance of teachers and in a long time". As stated by Ali bin Abi Talib to gain knowledge in order to get a bright future include:

The first is an intelligent, all human beings to have a sense be given. Then all humans also have the opportunity to become someone who is intelligent. Intelligent in the sense of justice, could put something legitimate, and not abusing the intelligence. As in Indonesia country, we already know many officials who have extraordinary intelligence but they use that intelligence to corruption. For the generation of people, especially the youth, be an intelligent person with good morals fortified.

The second are curious, when it appeared curiosity we will seek knowledge previously unknown to us. In this way we have knowledge and insight into the growing became widespread. It is unfortunate if someone was smart but he does not have a lot of curiosity, then out of that sense of always wanted to know must be embedded in a person to become a man of knowledge.

The third is steadfast, stoic is the first step and the key in finding extensive knowledge. Struggling to gain knowledge sometimes we have to do. There are so many obstacles when seeking knowledge and resilient properties are indispensable for the achievement of a satisfactory end result. In the search for knowledge a lot of obstacles that sometimes hamper. Someone who has a resilient nature, they skillfully transform the barriers into a great opportunity to share knowledge that they can grow and find helpful.

The fourth is have a provision in their studies, the material is also required when a person seeking knowledge. Sufficient material to support the passage of seeking knowledge. Why is that? Because if we want a comprehensive knowledge, then we also have to have a great sacrifice in material things such as buying school books and so forth.

The fifth is the guidance of a teacher with a long time, the teacher is the most important thing in search of knowledge. With the guidance of knowledge-seekers they will easily get the science. A long time also affect the success in search of knowledge. Guidance of teachers will make any desired destination seekers achieved with good science. To have the extensive knowledge we have to make the teacher as a guide or guidelines to provide knowledge to us. Religion Islam also recommends seekers science for science ta'dim to teachers so that we can be helpful.

With five of the above we can gain knowledge and a brighter future can already handheld. So that the youth are supposed to be the successor to the nation by science that they had for the creation of a prosperous country.
